Small vase/candle holder

Description

I threw this little pot on the wheel in stoneware clay. It’s glazed inside with a clear shiny glaze, so it can hold water and flowers. It also works well as a candlestick holder, as you can see in the thumbnail photo, one of a series of these that look good in a group together.

On the outside, I’ve glazed with a deep cobalt blue, while the top has taken on a bronze-like hue after dipping in another glaze before firing. I’m holding the vase in one hand in one photo to give you a better idea of its size.
